Harry Potter’s Beach

We spent an excellent day in August last year with Nick and Naomi in sunny Pembrokeshire.  The couple had a beautiful service in a tiny village church and a lovely reception in Stackpole Centre.

This area of the country is truly beautiful – if you have never been then pay a visit soon.  And if you do go then make sure you visit Fresh Water West Beach (if you’ve been waiting for the Harry Potter link then here it comes!) Not only is this beach spectacular, it has also recently been the chosen location for two Hollywood Blockbusters.  The final scenes of The Deathly Hallows Part 1(and I think the opening scenes of Part 2) and Russell Crows Robin Hood, were both filmed here.

We like to think it is because the location manager saw our beautiful pictures of Nick and Naomi taken at this stunning spot.
