August Bank Holiday Wedding and a boat called Matthew!
On a rather sunny August Bank Holiday Saturday I had the pleasure of photographing Lauren and Tim’s Wedding in Penarth before heading to a busy Cardiff Bay to the Norwegian Church. Cardiff bay was busy with an event and
due to a massive piece of fortune (and knowing the right people) we were able to take some photographs on the John Cabot Boat – The Matthew. The wedding was held at the beautful St Josephs Catholic Chruch in Penarth, from where we headed to Penarth Pier for a fews shots of the happy couple.
Keep your eyes peeled for the next blog post featuring Lauren and Tim in a Trash the Dress shoot. We were delighted that Lauren was happy to go all the way with the shoot, which got her dress (and the rest of her) very wet…..

Simon – Thankyou so much for capturing our day so perfectly! We knew we would get some pretty pictures after looking at your other work but the photos at Penarth completely blew us away.
During the day you were lovely and patient with us and it never once felt intrusive!
Thank you so much, and I cannot wait to see our little aftershoot!
I’ve just stumbled across your blog and think your wedding photography style is amazing! the colours are so vibrant. it’s great to see some refreshing and unusual takes on wedding photography.
Loving the colours here, awesome photography, love the way you’ve captured the day
