Rain cannot dampen the fun at this wedding!
It was with great pleasure that my Wife and I photographed the Wedding of Amy and Pete at the rather gorgeous (and previously mentioned on the blog) Pencoed House Estate. The weather was of April showers and even this could not stop the Bride and Groom having a ball. This was my first wedding at this stunning venue and with a couple more scheduled for next year I am excited already. The grounds are stunning and the photo opportunities are vast. If you have not booked your wedding venue yet then you must visit this place. BUT availability is seriously limited! I also had the chance to chat to the owner, Judy, who will give you a very warm welcome if you book in for a visit.
The couples day started at a beautiful Church in Pentrych – where sadly I was not able to take photographs of the ceremony…
However the time spent at Pencoed House Estate more than made up for this and Amy and Pete loved the photos of their day and I enjoyed capturing despite the rain where we had to abandon the shots of the two of them. Thankfully we were able to take some more before I left them to party the day away! I now cannot wait for my next visit to this superb venue… sadly its not until 2013!!
