Pencoed House Wedding – Lauren & Geraint

Well today’s blog is from a gorgeous pencoed house wedding that had a bit of everything … fun, laughter, beautiful people, a gorgeous dress, fantastic venue, sun and a torrential rain storm! There was one point in the wedding when Lauren and Geraint were huddling in the woods to shelter from the rain with the brides sister whilst I ran around looking for umbrellas and getting absolutely soaked!! Thankfully the lovely woods at Pencoed House Estate gave ample cover and when I came back I was the only one who needed a towel!

I have this wedding in one of my gorgeous sample albums (square linen album)and it was a really fantastic midweek wedding with the loveliest couple and their families. The whole day was at Pencoed House and Lauren got ready with her bridesmaids in the cottage before walking the 30 yards to the ceremony venue with a few natural photos as she walked. The ceremony was full of smiles, laughter and happiness and this did not stop all day – even during the rainstorm! We were lucky enough to have some sun in the evening so a few shots before the first dance with that warm look and the venue in the background.

I loved this day and I love the photos. I’m sure you will too and for those who were lucky enough to be there I hope they show the great day that it was.
