Its that time again when I randomly stick a pin in my images and pull out some stuff to show you and to keep the SEO gods happy.. This time I have tried to find some images that made me smile during the long days of editing. I am pretty sure that I have missed loads as I probably take and look through over 100,000 images every year with weddings and commercial work as well as those I take of my girls. This south wales wedding photographer is certainly not frugal when it comes to taking photos!!
First up is this lovely image of Nikki coming down the aisle on her wedding day at Pencoed House Estate. Nikki was seriously ill in the months leading up to her wedding and to see how determined she was to get married was phenomenal and frankly amazing. Many tears were shed on the day and it was full of emotion. This image, unlike the others, makes me smile out of admiration and big love for this gorgeous girl.
Now to lots of images that made me smile for the sheer fun of the day – these wedding guests played jenga jump for a good hour or two at this wedding at Rosedew Farm.
Maybe not one for the album but one that made me laugh when I saw that Jon my assistant had taken it…
My friend James showing off some sweet moves on the dancefloor of this wedding – could not resist capturing him being the party animal that we all know he has deep inside.
The grooms brother …. not sure what was so funny but he did pretty much laugh like this all day. That’s my sort of guest!!
So cute that i could not resist putting this photo in. I’m sure her Daddy loved it even more than me.
This image of Emily and Henry was so unexpected that it still makes me smile to this day when I see it in one of my sample albums. I loved this wedding in Abergavenny and LOVE this couple too for being such awesome people and dancing so crazily!
This groom shows the way in a high jump competition with his brother – he won the competition and had a fabulous day with his lovely bride at Canada Lakes and Lodge.
The first peek of an ecstatic Ruth being walked down the aisle by her Grandmother at Bryn Meadows. It was a stonking day and had a fantastic time with this lovely couple.
I LOVE this photo of these twin sisters who are friends of mine. I love capturing these moments within a wedding and finding little vignettes in the day that really bring the whole narrative together and give the couple a sense of what else was going on on their day!
The lovely Lara laughed all day at her wedding at Oldwalls in the Gower. It was such an easy day for me. Great venue, great couple and a sunny April day. Bliss.
Ok ignore the bridesmaid that has acrobatically caught the bouquet (a call up from Peter Moores beckons) but look at the guy who was also trying to catch the bouquet – he ran along way to do this and almost fell over the wall at St Donats for the pleasure of it!
Me! Up a tree at Miskin Manor!!
My gorgeous girls at Bryngarw country park on a Daddy day care day in October. I also did some filming on my camera and with the help of Rob at Taylors photographic, who edited it beautifully, it made the perfect present for Emma for Christmas.
There are no words for this …
