A Rachel Burgess Bridal Boutique shoot – wedding photographer Cardiff

I have known Rachel for a number of years and when she said she was opening a boutique back in 2013 I jumped at the opportunity to take some advertising photos for her. Rachel is a pleasure to work with on the shoots (we have done 4 altogether now) and her amazing energy and positivity so great that even I get swept up in her energy. Her boutique is situated In Penarth and is a real ‘must visit’ if you are looking for a wedding dress. The dresses, as you will see in the photos below, have a unique vintage/hand-made feel to them and are stunning to photograph as they always look great and make the photographs ‘zing’.

As well as these gorgeous dresses you will also get a phenomenal welcome and a really excellent experience as you browse the dresses with your bridesmaids and anyone else you bring along. I certain cannot recommend her highly enough and is the only wedding dress shop I would go to…

Anyway the shoot featured below is from February 2015 in a country house in Aberystwyth. It was a lovely way to spend a weekend and due to the weather and timings we had to work very fast to keep the shoot on schedule but we did it and had a wonderful time too. The models were great and photographed really well and I was ably assisted by Rachels other half – Jon – himself a photographer and someone that I have used as my second shooter on many occasions. We both took far too many shots but with such models, dresses and location was definitely easy to do.
