This wedding seems like a million years ago. It was actually in May and what an glorious day it was too. The bride and groom were Emma and Steffan and there day was a Rosedew Farm wedding in lovely weather surrounded by friends and family – who knew how to party. Emma and Steffan both work as presenters in radio with Steffan being the gaming expert on Radio 1 and Emma presenting the news for Christian O’Connell breakfast show. I met Steffan a few times before the wedding and unsurprisingly I really wanted to chat about gaming more than the wedding and thankfully the second meeting was with Emma who steered us in the right direction!
The whole wedding was at Rosedew farm apart from a quick trip to the beach at Llantwit Major – a landscape that looks great in most weather with its white pebbles and unusual cliff rock. We also did some shots with just the bride and groom at the farm and its an easy venue to get some great shots without having to spend too long or move to far. I am a big fan of letting the bride and groom spend as much time as possible with their guests – that includes doing all family shots as quickly as we can as well.
The day was full of fun and the evening was even better – firstly we managed a quick shoot whilst the sun was rapidly descending in the sky and then the legendary Fat Barry’s Soul Band played the evening entertainment and this included Steffan’s Dad on keyboards. There was even time for Steffan to grab the mic and sing … whats not to like about this wonderful day!
