This was such a special wedding for me with a couple who I had met a few times and loads of friends of mine there on the day to chat to, photograph and generally laugh with. Even though there was some uncharacteristic rain around at this wedding Lottie and Ash had a wonderful time and what a gorgeous couple they were too. I felt really welcomed into the day and had such a fun time that I barely wanted to go home and definitely wanted to stay and dance to their fabulous band …
The wedding ceremony was at Gorsley Baptist church where these two first met when they were just 3 years old. There was even a photograph of them both stood together on the stage of the church. Such a sweet story that took many years for them to work to that day but there they stood again to be married 20 years (or so) later. Even I was crying at this! The reception was at Lyde Arundel (although we diverted to Gorsley woods for photos sheltering from the rain) and after group shots inside the venue the sky cleared and there was time for more photographs and for the bride and groom to play a quick game of tennis! I loved that!
