Today we have more Rosedew farm wedding photography and it’s from my first wedding of the year. It was a day full of fun and laughter and I loved spending time with Lauren and Matt and they were flat out crazy all day. It was such an easy start to the year. The wedding was in Early March and we had a continuation of the drab 2017 weather – but this did not spoil the day.
I started my day with Lauren at the cottage during her wedding preparation where she was with her 6 bridesmaids. Lauren was wearing a dress from Perfection Bridal and flowers from Amanda French and looked stunning and Matt looked OK too – I suppose! He and his groomsmen were wearing suits from Dyfed Menswear. The pre-wedding photographs always give a sense of how the day may run and from the start, I could tell that it would be a good day. It was confirmed when I got to see the two of them together. They had been together for 3 years and were a great match – a pretty good advert for Tinder I would say!
After the ceremony and a confetti tunnel we did a small number of group shots before heading to a rather windy and cold Llantwit Major beach and then back to the farm for some photographs at a rather muddy farm and one lot of shots caused Lauren to have to be taken off to have her feet and shoes cleaned – its OK she did it with a fresh glass of prosecco with help from the MC for the day. It was a bit messy but well worth it..and thankfully Lauren agreed after seeing the resulting photo!
Other suppliers on the day were Vale Cake Boutique – who as ever produced a stunning cake ..sadly I never go to try any! The catering was provided by Jane at The Prickly Pear and The Bearded Taco who rocked up in the evening with there van – which, of course, we had some photographs in front of. The evening entertainment was provided by The Boutique disco and there was photobooth fun provided by Ultrabooth – sadly I did not have a go this time ..
It was such a great day and Lauren and Matt were perfect clients for me. They laughed, had fun, did not take it or themselves seriously. The couple honeymooned with a surprise minimoon where they did not know where they were going to the airport – very brave! They are having a full honeymoon Canada later this year. Have fun and thanks for being so amazing.
