Todays blog is from one of my favourite weddings of 2017 when I travelled to Hereford for a Lyde Court Wedding. It was my first time there (hopefully not my last) and WOW what a gorgeous venue. Not just that Kelly and Tom were able to have an outdoor ceremony but so many great areas for photographs and gorgeous indoor spaces that were some times challenging but always gave great results.
The whole day was spent at Lyde Court and I arrived to meet Kelly during bridal prep and Tom was getting the seating arranged at the ceremony lawn. I knew then that it would be a great day and was delighted that the weather stayed fair and we were able to spend most of the day outside aside from the time of food and speeches in the dark but photogenic main room. Sometimes I have to work harder to get photos on occasions like this but it was well worth it. The couple shots were taken around a small proportion of the estate at Lyde Court and I love them.
The evening after speeches held beer pong, frisbee for the bride and groom and then first dance followed by a short shoot with my lighting. These are great and a top way to finish a fantastic day.
Congratulations to Kelly and Tom and for those who are hoping to meet soon to discuss my wedding photography will be able to see them in a sample album.
