Lydia & Joseff – Llanerch Vineyard wedding

Today’s blog is of the wonderful and gorgeous Lydia and Joseff and their Llanerch Vineyard wedding. It was the first time I met Joseff (after having a meeting with Lydia earlier in the year) and I could see why Lydia fell for him. I also got to hear more of their story and how they first met and fell in love when they were just 12 and lived at opposite ends of the country. Joseff was living in Bala when they met and they had a long distance relationship for 5 years. He knew the moment that they met that she was the one and 12 years later he proposed on Afowen beach. What a wonderful story.

Lydia had asked me to go straight to City Church where I met up with Joseff and his boys and took some photos of them before letting Joseff get on with meeting the guests and me getting some lovely candid photographs. It was not long until Lydia arrived looking gorgeous in her Pronovias dress from Alison Jayne and flowers from The florist of Cardiff. The ceremony that took place is the super colourful City Church was great with lots of worship, love and a talk from the grooms Dad.

After the ceremony, there was a small amount of time for confetti before we headed off with the bride and groom to get some photos in the grounds of Llanerch Vineyard before they could get down to having fun with their family and friends. The grounds in Llanerch vineyard are not massive but there is a nice amount of variety and we had a laugh with about 20 minutes of photos. I like the images from that session and was a lovely time to chat to them both and get to know more about them.

There was about an hour for the bride and groom to chat to their friends and also do the group photos. We did them as quickly as possible and I wandered around getting some candid photos and chatting to guests. I love that part of the job – it’s amazing what you end up chatting about!

After I was fed very well (the food was amazing) there were the speeches and lots of laughing and tears. The speeches were really well thought through and when I find myself stopping and just listening I know that they are very good and are catching my attention. Joseff spoke really well about Lydia and when they met for the first time. He also spoke wonderfully about his whole family – there were tears and laughter in equal measure.

The evening concluded (for me and started for them and their guests) with cake cutting – made by Ali a friend of Joseffs mum. They then went straight to the dance floor for their first dance to the band – Groove Revolution. They got the bride and groom dancing before the dance floor was swamped and the party with started.

I really enjoyed my time with these two and thanks guys for making the day so much fun for me. This was my first time at Llanerch Vineyard and would love to go back again so if you are getting married there then please get in touch here and we can meet and chat about your day.
