Newborn photography Cardiff photographer

I have, over the last few years, been lucky enough to photograph quite a few newborn babies and their parents … as well as the occasional dog. I have never really advertised it but after my last session with the gorgeous Thomas and his parents, I thought that perhaps it was time to do this. I really enjoyed the session and was great to get to know the parents – who I met very briefly at a wedding in the summer. The format for the sessions is really simple and I use natural light in the babies home to create the images. I understand (as a Dad of 2) that babies can be unpredictable and try to fit the session in with the routine – if it is not too early for the baby to have a routine. I really like to do the session when Dad is still on paternity so that they can get involved and be photographed. The immediate pictures below of Ali and Dave were taken the day before he went back to work and I think its really important to get some natural photos of the baby and each parent. This could be semi-posed or just candid.

The sessions cost just £120.00 and last about an hour (depending on how the little is doing and whether they need to be fed) and you will get a disc of Jpegs from the session of ALL photos that I feel are artistically and technically right to give to you. This will probably be somewhere between 100 and 150.
