Old Wedding New Edit ’21 #3 – St Fagans Wedding Photography

Looking back at a wedding that does not seem very long ago due to the pandemic but I thought I would give it a make over anyway. This St Fagans Wedding Photography was from the wedding of Victoria and Mark in 2019 on a glorious March day. I love shooting and that time of year and am so gutted that ALL of my weddings in March 2021 have been postponed! March weddings are often sunny and with the sun going down earlier than in the summer its gives the chance for a good range of photographs and, if there is sun, then some great sun infused shots too.

Victoria and Mark’s wedding took place at the National Museum of Welsh life in St Fagans for the ceremony and then the reception at The Old Post House. It was a lovely day and great to catch up with one of her bridesmaids, Ceri, whose wedding I photographed a number of years ago.

This new edit on this wedding is a good example of why I like to test out these edits over a whole wedding. The edit used (called Victoria) works well in certain circumstances but over all it has made some of the photographs look a bit pale and desaturated and does not bring out the full colour of this sunny day in March. I may tweak it and pretty sure that it can be useable but not quite yet!

Get in touch if you want to chat through your wedding day and please have a look through the gallery for loads of photos from some of my 350 weddings.
