Old Wedding with a New Edit # 6

Todays ‘Old wedding with a new edit’ is from a lovely couple at Bryn meadows wedding back in March 2014 (maybe 2013). The lovely couple were Ruth and Tim who I met up with a few years later to do some photos of their baby. It was lovely to meet them again and something that I really need to do more of as I love a baby shoot and examples of which can be see here.

The wedding was special to me for the absoloute joy it was to work on. The couple were lovely and really relaxed and I spent the day with Richard from Aurora video – who is always good fun to work with. The venue is a spa hotel with a golf course which can cause some issues finding places to shoot but the venue staff took us out on a golf buggy and we got all the shots we needed.

The Lightroom preset I created for this edit started as a pre bouught Fuji Superia 800 preset which I then tweaked to lose any grain and then just slightly changed the tone curve. It was quite an easy build and I really like this one – so much so that I am editing some family photos using it! The black and white I used is really deep too and one that I may use again. I have named them fittingly enough after the bride – Ruth.

If you like the look of this colour style and want to have it at your wedding why not get in touch. I would love to chat to you about your day over a coffee and show you some more work.
