Old Wedding with a New Edit # 8

Following on from a previous blog I have decided to keep the editing style the same for this Miskin Manor wedding as for ‘Old Wedding with a New Edit # 7‘ . I really liked that edit and wanted to see how it looked on a different wedding. This wedding was again from around 2015 and was the big day for Luisa and Geraint. The ceremony was at St Peters church in Roath and then the rest of the day was at Miskin Manor. It was a great day and I really enjoyed it and was lucky to see Luisa again a few years ago at another wedding. I was also lucky enough to work with Richard from Aurora video on the day who I’m sure captured the day amazingly as always. His wedding films are some of the best you can get but pretty sure he gets booked up very quickly.

I still like the colour tone and it seems to work well for this wedding. The black and white is a bit more hit and miss. I like a tone that can work throughout the wedding and fit every situation that it will be needed for. This includes natural light outside and in as well as artificial light in darker rooms. It has to work in the colourfully lit disco and for my evening lit shoots. This seems to fulfill those criteria but I will need to try it on other weddings before it is used for a live one in 2019.

If you are reading this and would like me to use this colour tone on my wedding then why not get in touch here. You can also look at some of the other styles I have been experimenting with on this blog. There are many styles – although not everyone works in every situation or at every wedding. But why not have a look anyway.
