Penpont, Brecon – a recommendation

If you are looking for somewhere to get married then I can highly recommend Penpont Brecon. It is absolutely stunning and another venue where photographically there are almost too many places to go with the couple. I have only been to Penpont, Brecon a couple of times but am a recommended photographer at the venue and would LOVE to go there more … and by that, I mean at least 3 times a year. So come on let’s make that happen!

The venue is an old stately home with a really beautiful interior (in which you can stay and get ready) and then the ceremony room is behind the house in the stables. This is also a place where you can have the wedding breakfast – although in the wedding below you can see that the couple had a marquee outside the front of the house. This was pretty stunning too as it was an old-fashioned type of marquee – which was decorated very nicely and felt really special.

The photographs in this blog were taken from the wedding of Sarah and Rhys and as soon as I met them I knew that they were my sort of couple. We met and we laughed a lot and talked about lots of stuff including weddings … it was such a pleasant meeting that even the sun came out in the garden of the pub and we had to shoo wasps away… really idyllic yeah? Well, it was outside in a garden but the Harvester just on Junction 36… well I still had a good time!
