King Arthur wedding – Sarah and Aran

This was one of my favourite weddings from last year as I had a really great time with Sarah and Aran at The King Arthur Hotel in the Gower. They both live in Cardiff so we met one eveing for a drink in a local pub and got on straight away and this carried on from minute one of their wedding day. The ceremony was not until 3pm and they were both getting ready at the venue – which is a dream for me as I can flit between each room and capture the key moments and really get to know the couple and their bridesmaids / groomsmen / families.

As you can see from the photos the couple were gorgeous, the day was realaxed and there was lots of laughter. The weather was a bit up and down but we managed to get out and do all of the photographs we wanted and there was still a decent amount of time for Sarah and Aran to chat to their guests and really enjoy the day. After the meal Sarah and Aran gave me a chalk board to take around to get friends to write messages  and photograph them – which was a great way to spend the time after the meal and before we went out and did the evening shoot. It produced some lovely photos and I even managed to get a guest to take one of me too!

Congrats guys – you were great and I really enjoyed the day with you. It was lovely to photograph the day and finish with the cigar photos – love them!!
