This video is on the main website in the ‘Who we are‘ section, but I thought that I would share it on the blog as I love it and its always a good idea to big up my mate Rob – who shot it and edited it at super speed last summer. We were working together at Pencoed House for Dave and Claire’s wedding in August and he shot this during the evening shoot capturing some sun photos. It was a lovely day and working with Rob is always a joy as we have the same sort of idea for the day and this means we work really well together.
Rob is Taylors Videography and he is based out of Bristol but he works all over and is often in South Wales doing his thing. I have known Rob for a few years and he was my assistant back in 2010 (when Emma stopped assisting me as she had more pressing things to do – like with look after Eliza) till about 2014. He had started shooting weddings of his own with both still and video camera and now works predominantly with video.

If you look closely enough in some of his videos you may catch me working or as in the case of this video you will see me on the side of screen looking at the floor for a bit … its great watching and shows in that moment how I psyche myself up for the craziness of shooting the wedding dance floor! You can also see me here in the background working at various points … to be honest, it’s only a decent video if I am seen in it at some point!
