Why I love this Photo #5 – Cardiff Wedding Photographer

Theres an expression used, often unkindly, in photographic circles that is to shoot in a ‘spray and pray’ manner. It refers to photographers who take lots and lots of photos and just hope they get a good one amongst them. I do not subscribe to this but sometimes there are situations where taken a burst of photograph really works. I know there is at least one corker in there and I am happy to sift through ones that dont work to get ‘the’ photo.

This photo was taken from Claire and Tom’s wedding last month at Glenwood Church. I have known them both for a few years now and it was a pleasure and a joy to be be with them as they got ready, got married and had a fantastic day. The emotion in this photo is amazing. The bride is crying (although she may correct me) as she and her bridesmaids listen to her Groom sing for her. I love how Claire and one of her bridesmaids are having a moment together and three of the other bridesmaids are sharing their joy as the other two are watching Tom. Its the sort of photo I love as it oozes emotion and is one of those photos that as a Cardiff Wedding Photographer I can use again and again.
