From the moment we met Simon we knew we wanted him as our Wedding Photographer; he was funny, laid back but was also incredibly professional. Leading up to the Wedding Day, communicating with him was so easy; he answered all of our questions fully and honestly and his experience shone through with the advice he offered.
On the day of Wedding he was just a dream (and we didn’t even realise he was there most of the time!). Throughout each part of the day we have so many stunning photos from the simplistic beauty of the church and rural woodlands, to split second emotions and moments that could so easily be missed. When it came to the group photo’s he could tell our frustrations were starting to surface (with the guests, not him!) but he kept us smiling (and sane) throughout! It wasn’t your run of the mill wedding and we managed to over run by a couple of hours, but this didn’t deter Simon! He actually tried to leave three times but kept being pulled back by picture-perfect moments he just didn’t want to miss for us (lucky for us it meant he managed to capture our incredibly late first dance anthem on his third return!).
After the high of day, we were so excited to see all the moments he’d snapped, especially the ones we weren’t present for (there’s so much you miss when you’re the Bride and Groom!). Our photos were delivered in a small rustic box, with a handful of printed photos carefully tied with twine and a USB with nearly 1000 photos! Small touches like this go a long way and we absolutely loved it!
Our main ask of Simon, was that our pictures were natural and un-posed and my-God did Simon deliver! I would one million percent recommend him if you’re looking a calming, uplifting and experienced photographer to capture such a precious day. We will forever be grateful and cherish the memories Simon so beautifully captured for us on 4th August 2019.
