More 2014 images…

So here we go again – more scrabbling through the hard drives and recycling some images for you from this cardiff wedding photographer ….. some lovely stuff here actually despite my flippant manner – enjoy.

Ruth & Tim 384

The year  started off well with two great weddings that really set me up for 2014  the lovely Ruth and Tim got hitched at Bryn Meadows and we were given a glorious day and a a couple that were deeply in love and very happy. It was really great to be there and work alongside Richard from the fabulous Aurora Films. I love this image and you may have seen it once or twice on my website or on advertising!

In February I had the pleasure to put the winter behind me and photograph Joanna and Owain’s wedding at St Denys church and then Pencoed House Estate. The weather was great the guys were fun, Joanna was wearing a Helen Rhiannon dress from Rachel Burgess Bridal and we were at Pencoed House in the woods in wellies… what more could you ask for?

Angharad & Paul 193

The photo from Annie and Paul’s wedding above was another trip to St Denys church and I had the pleasure of photographing a wedding with the reception on the parents home… and what a lovely home too. This was a March wedding and I just love this time of year as you get some really great shots with a low sun (if you have sun that is..)

Rachel & Daniel 366

I love this shot from my mate Dan’s wedding. It was taken at the lovely Pencoed House and I was delighted to see the old man find love (he is younger than me!) but the weather was lovely and I could tell Dan what to do for some of the day. It was also lovely to get to know Rachel in the build up and watch my kids pretty much destroy their pristine house when I went to theirs! Congratulations guys.

Stacey & Lloyd 538

Stacey & Lloyd 337

I am going to end this blog with a couple of great shots from the wedding of Stacey and Lloyd. I loved this day and had a ball as well as loving the editing of their photos. The weather was insipid but they were up for it and we found some top spots to take photos at Maes manor and laughed throughout it. If you have not noticed yet but I am a simple soul who loves taking photos but as much as that I love to have a laugh with my couples. In an (un) scientific study it was  proved that laughing couples photos are 57% better than if they were not laughing. Well you cant argue with that science – can you?
