Do you edit the photographs? # 1 – wedding photographer cardiff

I am often asked ( as a Cardiff wedding photographer) if I edit the photographs and, of course, the answer is yes .. but not to change the photo completely but just to give it more zip – make it more beautiful – give it more focus – give it my style. The above photograph from Chloe and Will’s wedding is one of many thousand images I edited last year but what have I done? Well not loads to the photograph (aside from the colour) but just a little bit of cropping and a small blurring effect. I like the original but love the edited version and that is the important step post wedding. You may not like it or prefer the original but that is OK – that is why it is classified as an art form. The important thing for me is that the clients loved it and hopefully so will people coming to see these edited images on my website and in my albums.
