Old Wedding with a New Edit #1

I thought that it was time for me to bring out some old weddings that I may otherwise leave on my hard drive to be forgotten about. I thought it would also be nice to try out some new colour palettes on these and see what works and what does not. Its a good way of looking at it and finding something that can work throughout the day in different light and venue.

I have gone for a bold sort of edit on these photographs and it’s amazing how well it works on certain photos. I am not 100% set on this ‘preset’ (the name you call a colour edit in Lightroom). it could do with a little tweak but there is definitely something there. The black and white version is good too. I have named it ‘Fonmon’ in my preset folder and hopefully will use it again soon.

This Fonmon Castle wedding took place in around 2014. I am unsure of the year but do know it was an October wedding and there was a mix of early day rain and then a gorgeous sunny evening where we got the most palettes sun-infused photographs of the lovely Amy and Rhys. I loved their photos for this and I really enjoyed re-editing them for this blog.

I have a few more of these blogs coming up and hopefully, I will be able to create a number of robust and good all round presets that I can use for future weddings or other events.
