Coed Y Mwstwr wedding – Victoria and James

I love getting recommendations and Victoria and James were recommended to me from a couple whose wedding I was yet to photograph … no pressure there then! They were looking for relaxed wedding photography in cardiff and thats certainly what I offer. When I met them both I knew we would have a good time and so it proved. The day started with photos at the couples house with Victoria and her bridesmaids (including the bride who recommended me adn whose wedding I had done by this point! – Phew!) in Heath. It was lovely to spend time photographing and getting to know the girls before I had to head off, slightly scared of getting stuck in traffic, and meet the groom – James and his men at St Isan church in Llanishen. I was pushed for time and quickly shot the boys before rushing to wait for the bride to arrive – who was, of course, late! When she arrived she looked gorgeous and wowed her husband as she wlaked down the aisle.

The next part of the wedding was at Coed Y Mwstwr and we had lovely April sun so I got the groomsmen to get everyone outside for photographs and enjoy the warm afternoon in these fantastic surroundings. The rest of the day went well and to time and funny speeches followed by a low sun to capture a few shots of the couple in the evening – which was great and brilliant when the sun plays along with my timings! That just left the first dance and lots of shots of enthusiatic friends and family on the dance floor before I left them to party and I went home to a nice cold glass of wine! Good times!
